Ed this is a great day for America and The American People! The Good People from The Great State of Ohio stood up last week and voted to repeal John Kasich's SB5! Next on The People's List is the recall of Gov. Scott Walker from Wisconsin.
Ed let's keep the heat turned up high on the real terrorist who want to destroy America, The Republican Tea Party!
And I Quote, "We Have It In Our Power To Begin The World Again!"

We are the 99%!

They can close their parks they can arrest the 99% but it will not change the spirit. They can not make the 99% go away.
The more the cops and officials try to stop them, the more resolute the 99ers will become. It will only make them more defiant and convinced they are in the right, which they are. I think they should go at this another way though. Meet there during the day and start formulating a concrete plan. The best way to their objectives is voting. They should be getting the message out that the way to change what you don't like is the voting booth. Wisc and Ohio have started proving that. Michigan needs to get rid of the Reps up there before they declare Martial Law in every city. I hear they're ready to do it to another city up there. They need to get Rick Scott out of Florida and every other Repub governor that got in in 2010. There is a lot the protesters could be doing in each state.
Ed,
The thing I think is most interesting of the Sandusky interview is that he is saying that thousands of kids will come out and say that he never did anything to them. S, this somehow is supposed to defer his guilt from the ones that are saying to the contrary?
In other words, because he can develop thousands of kids that he did not sexually abuse that somehow reduces his guilt for the ones that he did abuse (potentially)?Do Sandusky and Herman Cain have the same lawyer? I really do not understand the intent of that interview with Bob Costas.
Hello Ed,
This is one thing that I don't understand. So the Government is trying to tell us that it is okay for the cops to go against the law abiding citizens who are fighting for their rights on Wall Street, but it is not okay for them [cops] to go against the bankers and the Government, who may I remind you, may have had family members lost in 9/11? I can't believe that they love a government that doesn't even care about them [cops] that are worried about a paycheck or about themselves. And if the cops in New York thinks that the government gonna take care of them, then they better think again. They are in the same bracket just like us Americans. They don't realize that Occupy is standing up for what's right!
The city of NY is not without a valid point about the park. They have been made to protect flora and fauna
There really is no need to camp not important to the sentiment
Reply ToCynicalCitizen:
The occupy encampments are necessary because they put more pressure on the Politicians and Wall Street-ers to get their acts together! They understand we mean business and we will force their hands on the matter with the camps! This is the only language they understand because it threatens their profit$$$$$.
We Are The 99%!!!!! Go - Occupy - Go!!!
But their not hurting their profits at all
The camping out is hurting or scary the corporations or the corrupt bankers and politicians at all
If you want to hit them where it hurts you stop buying products made by companies who have business practices you disagree with. You can remove your money from banks and investment firms that one might feel are cheating the public. The only way to get rid of corrupt politicians is to cut their salary, pension plans and vote them out of office. Camping does none of these things, sitting around holding a sign is not action that will make the kind of changes that need to happen in this day and age.
Go after the money not the public parks
The average citizen that occupy these encampments ....do not have a multy— million dollar fox media group corporate encampment that is a conservative mouthpiece bought and paid for by conservative dollars, "nice and tidy" with real toilets and mini-skirted babes to hold the attention of the average fox consumer! Nice plan, and it works. But the average citizen that is occuping these "public lands" have no choice now do they???How do you balance the corporate mouthpiece without millions mister judge?????
I see Van Jones is becoming a regular. Ed is moving from socialist to Marxist. Figures
Listening to all the right wing talkers, and I do listen to them, I've never known any of them to make a distinction between socialists and Marxists. Or communists or liberals or lefties or extremists or radicals or anti-Americans or, should I go on...
