hats off to the vlunteer workers and docs in the free clinic in new orleans and all free clinics everywhere!
My wife and I worked the clinic in New Orleans. We were non-medical volunteers and served as escorts for the patients. The time we spent was well worth it. The free clinic is very well run and the doctors, nurses, and staff work tirelessly to make the whole experience a success. We met so many nice people. If you have the time to work one of these events, I would highly recommend you do so.
We were also fortunate enough to shake hands with Mr. Schultz. He is a champion of the middle class.
