These are the stories the staff of The Ed Show are keeping an eye on ...
- President Obama will give his plan for troop withdrawal from Afghanistan tonight. Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews join Ed on the program and we'll get all 3 of their reactions to the speech at 10 PM on MSNBC.
- The Wisconsin GOP is jeopardizing unemployment benefits for 10,000 Wisconsinites because, they contend, benefits make people lazy.
- Sarah Palin quit her bus tour early.
- Sen. McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. Kerry (D-MA) are planning to introduce a new resolution that would authorize President Obama to continue involvement in Libya for another year as necessary.

Ok, which Democrat legislator in Congress will offer up a Bill that outlines this proposal for debate??? Don't hold your breath; it's nothing more than propaganda on the DNC website... nothing more.
Mom- you forgot some really biggies- Stimulus Plan, TARP, Auto Bailout, Cash for Clunkers. When talking about Corporate Welfare, these were really big dollar items.
Then stand by your convictions, tell your wealthy boss that you want to quit your job and go work for a poor person. LMAO!! Then you'll be crying we, wi, we, we all the way to the unemployment lines!
The Democrat leadership very weak, they are spinelees, why should we vote and waste our time.Than we got Mr Obama that cave in to the Republican every time they say anything,he will not support his base,I will not vote for him again. He is quick to support the Banks & the Republican.I really think he is Republican trying to wear dems clothes;he is a blue dog Democrat. He is still doing Bush job!
Mom- let us know which Democrat is sponsoring a bill that eliminates breaks for companies that use domestic manufacturing. Also, the one sponsoring a bill to slow depriciation, thereby further slowing domestic investment. And, didn't Dodd-Frank address derivatives and speculation? Then, do you think the encouragement of a Multi-national to move it's Control base to a foriegn country is a positive thing. Do Liberals ever think? Or are they only focused on forcing an equal distribution of wages, etc?
I wish the President had said "We are bringing our boys home sooner than we had expected. We eliminated the reason we went to Irak in the first place, when Osama Bin Lama was killed. Then the war escalated to where it is now. We have lost so many of of our boys and those that weren'nt killed are mutilated. Where does it end. Therefore. We are bringing all of our troops home starting augustust of 2012 and ending in May of 2013. We can't afford to be there and they have made made great strides and effords towards peace in their country. They do not want us there and we do not want to sacrififice anymore of our children's lives.. My husband has never agreed with me until now. I have finally wone one after 49 years!

Corporate welfare, jobs overseas, benefits lost to our public employees, Libya continuing, and Sarah Palin quitting? At least America is consistent. And that is the problem. Even Palin is a funny sideshow.
Corporate welfare, workers losing benefits, public employees losing jobs, manufacturing shipped overseas, Libya-the next frontier (debacle), and Palin quitting? At least America is consistent. The good part there is half baked Sarah keeping us amused. Heck, we must laugh at something in this country.
