These are the stories the staff of The Ed Show are keeping an eye on …
- Anthony Weiner apologizes for lying about the Twitter picture.
- Nancy Pelosi asks Ethics Committee to investigate Rep. Anthony Weiner.
- Economist Walter E. Williams says welfare is a mechanism to “break up the black family”.
- More buyer’s remorse: Even members of the Republican party are rejecting the unfair tactics and turning away from the GOP.

Love the Catholic's Church's position on the Republican Kill Medicare Plan. The Church is against it and is speaking out. Thank you Catholic Church
Ed a Huge Welcome Back, the working Man's and Elderly, Poor, Disabled and our Children's Champion of Truth!
and an uninformed udiot
How partisan can a show get!? And the irony of your show is the pretense that you are on the common man's side. Hey jerk! The common man lives between New York and California- how many of those counties went blue? You have NO idea what is important to the average American; you are merely a mouthpiece for your elitist socialist backers who wish to only ruin this country. Lean forward? More like prone with your head in the sand groveling at the trough that keeps you on that insignificant network.
Keep LEANING FORWARD Ed......Welcome back. You are a mouthpiece for what we believe is Right and wrong in this country.....We need encouragement to get involved and save this country from the ill-wishers. David, who is partisan in his own way, does not want us to speak out for what we believe, so he comes on your blog to feed. He may have himself completely buried in the sand of his own kind and he is afraid of your significant network.
David go inercourse yourself then stick you head back up your ass!
Hello Ed! I'd like to start off by saying great job on bringing the untold facts to the american household. One thing that should be talked about in the media is how the corperations are trying to make economic slaves out of the middle class. We have seen the days where coal miners worked, lived, and purchased goods from establishments owned by the coal mine. Most employees were not even paid in American currency! It's obvious that the republicans serve the 1% and not the American people. I'm here to tell you that the "Rupert Murdoch agenda" has misled so many poor uneducated republicans who would benefit from social programs. I'm all for paying off our national debt, but it will have to be in a few years when America gets back to work and can afford to pay it back.
Well said, Scott.
Scott Shockey
You do know that we are at our debt ceiling 14.3 TRILLION
Right???
you do also know that Standard and Poors is THREATENING for the first time in history to lower our credit rating
RIGHT???
Yet your own words "but it will have to be in a few years"
The interest alone that we are paying on our debt is more then the Afghan and Iraq war put together
So we should just continue to kick the can down the road??
This is from a speech Obama made in 2006:
I thought you said it well too. You brought up the coal workers, that the left wing nuts are trying to close down. You brought up the fact that if we keep some social programs running more poor uneducated republicans could take advantage of them. Hay here is a good Idea sense these programs are all so good lets all get on board and use them. Oh, wait??? where will the money come from to pay for these programs. Hay I know lets get those stupid Republicans to pay for it, they believe in good hard work. Oh, wait! maybe that is why so many Republicans are against these programs, could it be that they are the ones that are paying for it through their taxes, and actually understand this fact. Lazy people and Elitist want social programs. Hard working people want the government to keep us safe, keep corporations honest and stay out of our pockets for the rest.
Ed thinks he is an elitist, he believes he is smarter than you, and that he needs to explain how it all works, and he will help all the stupid masses just give him you money and he will do what is best with it( for a small fee of coarse)
You act like democrates do not pay any taxes Chemdmd. Last time I checked social programs are not a bad thing. I like medicare, unemployment,SSI,WIC,student loan programs and so on and so on. Yes there are those who take advantage of the system, but if there was more over sight fraud would happen less. I know your type Chemdmd, people are nothing more than commodities and if they are old,get hurt or layed off they should just lay in the street and die. People act like they dont know what happened to all the jobs.
The corperations went to India and China where they can exploit slave labor so they dont have to pay an American a decent wadge or provide benefits. What I find funny is that their greed will make the bottom fall out of the bag. America is the number one consumer of commodites in the world and if there are no jobs in America no one will buy the worlds junk anymore. Democracy has been bought and freedom is nothing more than a illusion. Our nation has a disease and its called greed.
The ultra rich have democrates and republicans fighting each other so they can fill there agenda. They dream of the days in the 1800's when 6 people owned everything. When you are ultra rich having possessions gets old, thats why they go into politics. Controlling people is where its at.
Sex scandal? I thought there had to be sex in a sex scandal. I find it funny that people are so prudish about sex in a nation like America where sex is legal in Nevada and its all over the culture. I think personal lives of congresspeople should remain private unless they spend tax dollars on their scandal or, speak against homosexuality and they themselfs get caught in a homosexual act.
I agree with you on your basic premise, but as a former Federal Employee, it is against policy (punishable by termination) to use Federal resources (especially information technology) to view or send pictures/videos or jokes of a sexual nature. I personally was involved in suspending an employee for such as act with no more solid information than what we had here before Mr. Weiner confessed. Shouldn't this regulation also apply to our elected officials? (This is assumming the device he used was issued to him / paid for by the government.
I most certainly agree with you NotTxnative. If the congressman did send those while at work or on a computer provided by the state then he is accountable. If he did it at home on his own P.C then it dosent really offend me.
If you look at the happiest people in the world they are all in the democratic socialist countries, yet we have a republican representitive that says that welfare is a bad thing. Perhaps he missed the report. Meanwhile the United States fared poorly in the rankings. Again maybe he missed the report.
You have just lost a loyal viewer.
I am not interested in watching a hypocrite who makes an apology for saying disgusting things, leaves the air for a week in "atonement", then comes back on the air and demands the resignation of a congressman who screwed up in his personal life but not in his professional life.
If you want him to resign, you hypocrite, YOU resign and show that "just making an apology doesn't cut it". YOU show by example that YOU are going to do more than "just" apologize.
Personally, I don't think either of you should apologize over what was done, but I'm damned if I'll listen to a hypocrite that thinks his apology is good, but someone else's isn't.
Well said Mark he is nothing but a low life MSNBC should keep him out

Oops. First post. accidentally did it twice.
Greetings, i love the show, and I actually have never responded to any tv show before, but I felt compelled to clarify something. The part talking about welfare hurting African Americans more than slavery, I dont think Ed understood he was speaking of the break up of the black family, and that it mandated that the man be out of the house in order for the mother to get any assistance. This led to a rise in single family households, and alot of families with the male being outside the house or in hidding for fear of losing assistance
how can someone be idiot to this point like you June F1 calling this spooky dude Ed a champion how is it possible
This Boman what >........................ he was elected republican (Used peoples Trust) and once he dit he became a democrat. This should not be permited
Mr Boman when republicans vote for you You can't turn around and become democrat. If these peoples wanted to vote democrat they didn't needed you to foul them and use their vote the way you want. But wait next year is not far away we will make sure you are a one time elected you stupid dude
The best of all is that everybody on the left say that fox is a radical TV and that Ed is champion but a champion of hate and lies besides he is spooky dude probably in soros payroll
Welcome back Ed. I look forward to watching your show every night, but I think it was better in the 6pm time slot instead of 10pm! I've been out of work over a year now and we can't afford cable tv, so I have to watch all tv shows online. Why are you only on 4 nights a week? And why does it take so long to put your latest show on your website? Your shows don't seem to be uploaded until well past midnight!
