After giving big oil companies tax breaks and subsidies, and not bothering to pay for two wars, Republicans now refuse to give disaster funds to the victims of flooding and tornadoes until spending cuts are made to pay for it.

The Progressive Democrats continue to be the Party of HYPOCRITES and situational ethics. Just as many on this forum were anti-war when Bush responded to Al Qaeda after 9/11 and protested; they were FOR war when Obama attacked Libya. It proved these far left hypocrites we're not anti-war; just anti-Republican. When Obama did not close GITMO and remove our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan during his 1st year as President as he promised on the campaign trail, you didn't hear the cries of the so-called "anti war" far left. Instead you hear them try to justify Obama's decisions. Again, these zombies have no integrity as their stance on the issues changes with the tide based on where Obama, the Pied Piper, leads these ignorant rats. It's actually amusing to watch - they truly are "Sheeple". Everyone notices the simple 'talking points' these Lenin "Useful Idiots" repeat without knowing knowing anything else - no research or search for the truth. No... they're too lazy as are most on the far left - looking for their next government handout, or political talking points from people like ED and Rachel Maddow. The funny thing is they truly believe they are enlightened intellectuals, when in fact, they have no real clue. They rely on name calling, racism and class warfare because they have nothing of substance to contribute to the debate. Once you neutralize their 'talking point', they just stand there with their thumb up their @ss with no rebuttal except to resort to childish name calling - this is when I know I've won here. Poll: Fox Most Trusted Political News Source

Liberals received some more bad news this week as a newSuffolk University poll revealed that Fox News is the most trusted political news source among those surveyed.
FOX News – 28%
CNN – 18%
Undecided -12%
NBC – 10%
Other -10%
MSNBC — 7%
ABC — 6%
CBS — 6%
C-SPAN — 3%
For CNN the poll was a little bit of good news at a time the network is struggling with it’s primetime lineup, and after they received a black-eye this week for omitting former New York governor and current CNN host Eliot Spitzer from a story on political sex scandals.
The news wasn’t so good for MSNBC which finished a distant third to its cable news brethren with just 7% of respondents saying that they trusted the liberal cable news network.
It’s true that part of the explanation for these results is that the only network that conservatives find their viewpoint fairly represented is on the Fox News Channel, but maybe airing all that one-sided programming bashing conservatives isn’t so good for the other networks after all.

Extending some of the worst parts of the Patriot Act is in a sense them worrying about a revolt more than terrorists. They know the people are not going to go down quietly when they start eliminating our entitements and turning us into slaves to the corporations. They are going to continue to wire tap citizens illegaly and silence certain media spokesmen These are all things that Obama pledged to eliminate. Where is our much needed Independent candidate.Please come forward the American people need you.
Circumcision should be a choice not a forced procedure.

They are thinking about selling prisons in Louisiana to private firms. That could be good and that coud be bad. It will save the state money but it dont do much for the way a prisoner will be treated. No more state guidelines.

PW when ever there is a crisis any where in the world the speculators with little regulation cause more rise in prices. Just like they did after Katrina and Gustov when Bush was President. They were selling bags of ice for $5 dollars a bag and that was not considered gauging.
It sounds like Netanyahu is compimising with President Obama saying some of the the West Bank settlements could find themselves outside of Israels final borders.

Apparently, Rep. Ryan is back to retreaded GOP tactics, in his studied denial of what our President has proposed in the budget before Congress.(re: clip shown on Ed Show of Ryan's defense of his ludicrous budget.) Call it selective amnesia or willful ignorance, or just plain lieing, if you will.
If you watched the hearing (5 biggest oil co. pres.)the head of Exxon stated,"between 30 to 40% of the price of oil was speculation".If you would watch congress,C-Span,instead of Fox you would be able to actually hear the TRUTH
