These are the stories the staff of The Ed Show are keeping an eye on ...
Dems put pressure on big-oil on the Hill today.
John McCain lays out why torture doesn’t work and names who's been lying about it in a Washington Post op-ed.
Catholic leaders are labeling John Boehner as “anti-life” because of his proposed cuts that would have damaging effects on the Medicare and Medicaid programs, women, children, poor and sick.
John Ensign’s broad-ranging ethics case is referred to the DOJ and FEC. Vanity Fair offers a Gary Busey-like mnemonic device to keep track of all the charges against him.

labeling Beohner anti-life
i can back that ,, along with the rest of the TEAPUBLIECANTS
labeling Obama anti-Republic and anti-Constitution
I can back that ... along with the rest of the far left Progressive RADICALS
Its about time that got toughon big oil. Sen. Mccain should know about torture. It is very hypocritical to be against abortion but cut funds for all the programs that help in the child birth and child rearing programs. John Ensign got caught how many have not gotten caught.
Sen. McCain has NO future in Republican politics as a potential Conservative candidate for President. No chance at all. While I respect his service, he would not make a good President.
It's funny how conservaturds drop their people like a bad habit over a wedge issue. You must be mad that Mccain made a speech against waterboarding today. And yet, you voted for him in '08. It's going to be fun watching all the far right regressive radicals tearing each other to pieces in their debates. Right, right, right foot right! LOL!!
Nah they will just change the subject by attacking Democratic policies that few understand because of the complexities of the policies, like Health care reform. Or some other form of distraction. Call whoever a RHINO for not standing firm on GOP policies, like they are doing with grumps McCain. They are so predictable because they haven't changed any tactics since 2000, its all the same old Rove BS. One nice thing about conservatives change doesn't come easy to them and it leaves them using out dated tactics from the past. It worked 12 years ago why not now, lol.
You want to see a real laugh riot go over to rim jobs free republic site, warning going there gives you flash backs to 1996 web sites, and see the wing nuts in their natural habitat.
Isn't it funny how the Progressives drop their fellow 'far lefties' on wedge issues - like Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell? LOL!!! Many of us Republicans don't support McCain because he's a Progressive 'turd' like the rest of you. We respect his service, but he never was a Conservative. LOL!! You want to see a real laugh riot go to the new Democrat Party website that now talks about their so-called 'legacy of support' for Civil Rights, when in fact, they spawned the KKK and fought civil rights for the black community all throughout history up till the mid-60s (and beyond). LOL!!! The Far Left Lunatics!! Trying hard to revise history...
Progressive, They are going to look right over that!
Mr. Moore and Rosie are not running for office. There opinions are peanut gallery. Sen. McCain shows he has sense because he does not go along with his parties every ideology. If it is wrong he states it is wrong. Thats why they call him a maverick remember. It is also why he came as close as any one is going to to defeating Obama. None of these cookie cutter Republicans or these radical Tea Party candidates will in 2012.
Yesterday’s march on Wall St. in New York City that was sponsored by the United Federation of Teachers and other organizations went off without a hitch. Featured speakers and participants included Rev. Al Sharpton, Randi Weingarten, Michael Mulgrew, Hazel Dukes, Charles Barron, John C. Liu, Bill De Blasio, Denis M. Hughes, Lillian Roberts, Scott Stringer, and many more.
The struggle has been taken to those who caused the Great Recession, the Wall St. gamblers. Tax breaks continue, corporate profits soar, and the rest of us are made to suffer with unemployment and layoffs. To see posted photos of this event go to

Yes, thank you for the free entertainment. We always enjoy watching "race pimps" like Al Sharpton (and Jesse Jackson) talk about class warfare...and Wall Street. It's amusing to watch how easily they can manipulate the far left. Like shooting fish in a barrel. The United Federation of Teachers and the NEA! LOL!!! The same union fools that hired Saul Alinsky, that wrote, "Rules for Radicals" that the NEA placed on their 'recommended reading list" for teachers, and praised Lucifer in this book as the first radical. Yup, you far lefties are in good hands! LOL!!! The NEA that stated their purpose was political power; and not about creating good schools and taking care of children/students. You guys crack me up.
Mike, I have a question for you.
What condition will you be in if the Republicians win on all the changes they are attempting to make. My assumption is you are finanically set, will not need soc.security, have no parents on medicare/medicaid, etc.
NEA President's take on the NEA, see the video: www(dot)eyeblast.tv/public/checker.aspx?v=hdqGqGZuqG ,The teachers are all PUPPETS of the union and they don't even know it.
G.Kendall, Anybody near (10 years away) or collecting now will NOT BE AFFECTED, So your question about his parents is not valid, Ed's fearmongering will make you believe they are all going to die! see the video: www(dot)youtu.be/zRFMuvXG52g , I don't know about the rest of you here, but I know whats in Ed's head.....MOTHS! And I don't know about mike's financial situation but I work for a living, I'm not rich, I don't let unions take any of my money to use for buying politicians, and I want the Democratic hand outs to stop, why should I work for anything if the Democrats are going to pass out everything us working people WORK for?, I might as well get fat eating junk food & smoking cigarettes that the taxpayers pay for, and why would I care to make any choices for myself that are healthy if the taxpayers are going to pay for my healthcare? . Here is how Obama got elected, see 2 videos: www(dot)youtu.be/Bg98BvqUvCc , www(dot)youtu.be/mjtAgPMnUd4
G.Kendall, to answer your question. I've been a Republican since I was 17, poor (not even middle class) and joined the military - later retiring as a veteran. I worked on my education during evenings and weekends while working full time to achieve success. Never looking to the government for aid. So, no - I was not 'financially set' when I joined the Republican Party, nor do I expect Social Security to be around because you have Presidents like Bill Clinton that raised the Social Security Trust Fund to lower his deficits, and the program is going bankrupt. You can see the fallacy in your assumptions: Republicans = Rich, and Democrat = Poor is pure BS. We ALL need to step up and contribute, via these essential reforms, to save our Republic and keep these social programs viable for future generations. There are NO easy answers.
If waterboarding isn't cruel, let's just waterboard Dickless Cheney the gutless wonder.
... lets just read the terrorists, insurgents and combatants their Miranda Rights and try them in federal court... like the gutless wonders want to do - Nobama and Eric Holder...and you wonder why citizens consider the Progressives weak on national security.
why don't we just waterboard mike and joe?
