Employees at the Michigan Assembly Plant booed the Governor who is threatening workers’ rights in the state. Some of the hourly workers wore “Solidarity in Wisconsin” shirts in support of Wisconsin’s current labor fight.
Watch the whole report from one local affiliate, WXYZ:

I am also a UAW member and I think the Ford workers had a lot of self-control. They are savvy union people who understand quite well what this corporate whore is trying to do to all union and middle class people in Michigan.
If organized crime were involved in the union, like a lot of right winger propagandists like to claim, this governor and others like him wouldn't be here any more. This is tyrany and I applaud these Ford workers for making their sentiments known! God bless union people and the middle class!
Re: "I think the Ford workers had a lot of self-control."
Yes, perhaps they did by your UAW standards of bloody violence, slashing tires, destroying property, burning non-union businesses and making death threats on entire families. Such charmers these thugs and goons!!
Re: "If organized crime were involved in the union this governor and others like him wouldn't be here any more."
Umm, well, organized crime IS involved in the unions and that's why Jimmy Hoffa isn't here any more.
If you're a PeoriaGuy, you might not understand. If you're a JerseyGuy, a DetroitGuy, or a ChicagoGuy, the denial is a little harder to maintain.
Bloody violence? Sounds like you are "kinda skeered" boy. You have a nice handle! Does that make you feel more macho and secure? Perhaps you marched with the Tea Baggers on the Potomac or wished you had, packing your big bad gun. The Ford UAW workers were wearing t-shirts. Who wants blood? Guess it must be your side Crosshairs!
We aren't going to let the corporate whores and Nazis kill the Middle Class. I guess you side with the corporate Nazis?
Remember this-union people will stand up to slimeballs like Walker, Snyder, Kasich and Daniels who want to crush the middle class. If it makes cowards like yourself nervous, who hide behind their AK47 and small arms collections and violent rheteroic, good!!!!!! Why don't you go post on the NRA sight about what a stud you are?
“I think the Ford workers had a lot of self-control”. Was that: “They are sawwy union people” or savvy?
Is this dude trying to tell me union laborers never had connections to organized crime? Wow! Re-write history why don’t ya. I wonder if the larger majority of middle-class taxpayers in Michigan earn anything close to what union auto workers do. As for the argument of which side is right, the best liar standing will win in the end or take it in the end.
Dear Uncle Fester Fart-what year is it? 1971 or 2011? IF unions make you nervous-good! Better run for the hills then Unc, cause we aren't backing down until we get your favorite creeps out of the political system! Long live the middle class!
When the Governor speaks of "fundamental change", we know from his bills that he is talking about "radical" change -- change from a democratic system to a dictatorial system. His plans for emergency financial managers that can oust voter-elected mayors and councils and school boards is certainly radical -- I believe actually unconstitutional. Our Constitution makes was written specifically to eliminate the kind of government he is trying to create here in Michigan.
