These are the stories the staff of “The Ed Show” are keeping an eye on …
- Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) calls on the President to visit Wisconsin. Ed seconds that motion.
- Local groups have officially filed to pursue some of “The Wisconsin 14” for recall. They’ll need around 16,000 signatures to move further. One of the senators they’re going after is Lena Taylor, who joined us last night.
- We showed you “The Walker Tapes” last night along with Ed’s passionate commentary. Walker himself insists he didn’t do anything wrong and denies planning to lure Dems back.
- Koch Industries defends Walker, saying they won’t benefit from the Wisconsin bill.
- Nonetheless, the Madison police chief wants to know why Walker even considered planting “troublemakers” in the protests, while “Common Cause”, a state government watchdog group, calls for a Walker investigation.
- Meanwhile, workers aren’t giving up as Rallies continue – scheduled for Thursday and Saturday, calling it their “Tea Party moment” against GOP spending cuts.

Yes, Obama should go to Wisconsin and back up the union and working class members of this country who got him elected. If he does not show us any support he should be replaced on the Democratic ticket in 2012. sibob.org/wordpress/
Two things got Obama elected; Union money and uninformed voters that bought into his lies. Remember closing GTMO, Unemployment will not go above 8%, he doesn’t believe in redistribution of wealth, stopping the wars and withdrawing our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, etc… Why would Obama go to Wisconsin and defend the predominately WHITE teachers? Really, take a close look at the photos of the protests. The protestors are Whiter than the Tea Party. Obama plays it safe and rides the fence like most politicians. He will stand by on the sidelines and wait. If the republicans are successful, (which they will be) and things go well as a result Obama’s hands are clean. If things go bad for the republicans Obama will get behind the unions. Remember this is the same guy that shoved health care reform down our throats against the majority’s will. If Obama was concerned about the middle class he would not be printing so much money, devaluating the dollar, and reducing our purchasing power.
Speaking of recalls, jeez, I dunno guys, but it seems to me that a sitting governor who OPENLY admits he considered using thugs to turn a peaceful protest violent just gave reason for his immediate recall... (note: he wasn't discussing legal means, the police, the national guard, but THUGS).
Murphy (Fake Koch): But what we were thinking about the crowd was, uh, was planting some troublemakers.
Walker: You know, well, the only problem with that - because we thought about that. ... My only fear would be if there's a ruckus caused is that would scare the public into thinking maybe the governor has to settle to avoid all these problems. ...

As I posted on Lawrence O'Donnell's blog:
Candidates express inherently to send a message of their convictions. However, when candidates obtain the office of their candidacy they must attend to more than just their own personal convictions.
Currently President Obama is trying to work with businesses, large and small, to create jobs and get the economy moving again. It is a terrible time for him to express his convictions over union righta, and risk business alliances to turn against him. As per usual the President of the United States is caught in a tight position.

i think they need force the governor to step down he must be psycho like kadaphi lets power go to his head next he will order the army to kill the protesters to kill the kids to kill the teachers and union workers all to show his power no matter what he needs to go he was voted in on trust that he would represent everyone in his state now we see he is a crazy dictator
ED we need to stop this out of control republican's tirade need fcc to pass law that new's that needs to be fact checked and verified the public trust is at hand we need to know that all networks are reporting facts not half facts or total lies or if not they need put disclaimer that the show is not a news show but for pure entertainment so fox can stop the lies
What is needed to start impeachment of Governor Walker?
Yes, President Obama should come to Wisconsin. Losing union bargaining in Wisconsin as well as other states across the country will have a devastating impact on the Democratic Party in the future. This union busting debacle instigated by Walker and others like him will hurt the union support to Democrats in the upcoming elections. Big business media in this country won't tell the whole truth. Big business won't "allow" truth to be told. Where is our President? Where is the man who led us to believe even the little guy was important? Where is the President who said he cares? Where is this man who was elected by the little guy, those middle class union workers? When we need our strong leader to speak out and make a statement, and come to our aid, where is he? President Obama must know how fellow Democrats are anticipating his help nationally. The party must be united to fight the unfair and unreasonable wishes of the Walkers in this country before there is no Democratic Party.
i think f.b.i needs to investigate walker seems he might be a terroist looking to hurt americans look into who has been buying him off who has he been working with how far is walker thinking of going next he might send some one to blow something up seems he wants to kill protesters i think its time he is stripped of his job he needs to be the one given a pink slip
ED calm down this is just the begining of this fight, all is not lost. The Pesident said if we are denied our barging rights he will march with us, so far is not lost as long as we stand stronge. remember the republican's and independents are in public & private unions to this is why you don't see them out there protesting agianst the unions like they were agianst the health care bill. why do you think people were payed to protest agianst the unions, where are they now. holler back if you feel me.
IT'S TIME TO START A CAMPAIGN "TO RECALL GOV. SCOTT WALKER."
WHAT HE SAID....IS CALLED "TERRORISTIC THREATS" AND IT'S ILLEGAL... HE'S A THUG AND A COWARD.... TO PLAN TO HIRE MORE THUGS TO START VIOLENCE, AGAINST PEACEFUL PROTESTERS AND SCHOOL CHILDREN. WONDER IF HE WAS GOING TO USE TAX PAYERS MONEY?
I'm sure he can go get another Job with his "KOCH DEALER", OR I HEARD LIBYA'S LOOKING FOR A NEW DICTATOR.
Has anyone mentioned this? The Wisconsin Democratic legislators leaving the state to stall Walker's plan, isn't that just a filibuster with their feet? Republicans in the U.S. Senate filibustered everything. The Wisconsin 14 (I forget exactly how many) are just in effect filibustering one bill, the only way they can. Walker says they should show up and do their job, etc, they and their staff can still do their jobs, even though they are not in the building. When GOP senators filibuster bills, they say they are doing their jobs.
Yet another Gov. Walker "phone" pas...
I think the legislature should make a new senate and house law that states if the entire elected officials of any party leaves the state for 7 days as an attempt to stop, block, ect the State from voting on bills . Have the bill deamed PASSED AND BINDING BY THE STATE. without the presence of the other party needed. That will stop walk outs and have there elected officials show up and vote up or down like they are supposed to do. . Also by the way The officials that left should be fined $50,000 per day every day they are absent from there duty they are required to perform . And have there paychecks stopped from day 1
BILL ALLOWS CHANGES, NO APPROVAL NEEDED
As for Medicaid, Walker gives himself as much leeway as possible under the bill that passed the Assembly early Friday but remains hung up in the Senate because of 14 AWOL Democrats who skipped town to stymie efforts to vote on the proposal in that chamber.
Walker's bill gives his administration the power to make any changes necessary to Medicaid to save money, regardless of current law and without approval of the Legislature. Medicaid is a $1.2 billion part of the budget, but even with the freedom the bill gives him, Walker will be hamstrung by federal law that limits how many cost-saving changes states can make without a waiver.
Walker's new health department secretary, Dennis Smith, is a former federal Medicaid official who has advocated that states drop out of the program entirely. That position and others taken by Smith are worrisome to advocates for the poor, disabled and elderly, who are largely the beneficiaries of the program.
Walker has not released details of what he may cut in Medicaid. At least some of the cuts will be contained in his budget coming out Tuesday.
it's an old, but perfectly accepted political tactic. abraham lincoln crawled out the back window of the illinois legislature so they could not have a quarum.

Hard Questions for “The Deciders”.
A) Governor Walker, were you granted power by your god or by the people of Wisconsin? If by an all powerful God, why only you and Republicans? Why cannot your god inculcate the minds of all Wisconsinites on your behalf?
B) Is idea of your God all powerful or does the god idea intimidate you into such an acceptance?
C) Can you ponder and respond to this statement.. “Religion is the greatest hoax ever to inculcate the mind of man”. Your answer is?
D) If a god has created mankind to love honor and obey it, why are there so many all powerful concoctions or why is your all powerful being guilty of conceit?
E) If an all powerful god created man to love honor and obey him, why couldn’t it create mankind with such innate characteristics?
F) Has god created man or has man created god?

If you truly want an answer to your questions, open the Bible and read it. You will learn of the fall of man and the grace of God. You would never accept an answer for someone else. The anger and frustration echoed in your posting can be relieved. You do not have to continue to live your life void of purpose. God does love us all, even those that deny his existence.
Tell that to the right wing nuts.
They believe God loves who THEY choose to love. This leaves out gays, blacks, anyone with brown skin, women who are pro-choice, the poor...
Man created God, and man also created prejudice.
